Assalamualaikum...
Its that time of the month where I go hunting with my partners for new food joints... so last Sunday I came across this newly fast-food joint, I normally don't want to cover any fast-food, but this time its different..
This is Mo'men, its a fast-food concept, where you order at the counter and enjoy your meal at the table while sitting on an uncomfortable chairs... just like any other fast-food joints.... Mo'men is a chain of fast food restaurants based in Cairo, Egypt. and now it's available in Malaysia, in Shah Alam, section 7....
A few views of the interior of the restaurant.
That day I had Philly Steak Sandwich Combo
and my Philly Steak Sandwich
Mo'men Restaurant
2 Jalan Kristal J,
Seksyen 7,

no...bentong la..tapi umah abang kat sana..nnt ada kot g s.alam..leh try...nmpak sedap..terutama steak sandwich tu...yummy!
today I have tried the chicken & rice menu. i forgot the name. it looks great, but the rice is so-so. The chicken meat is great cos no fat! nicely trim! My friend's tasted the philly cheese steak. He said the beef was tender, no fat at all, even the fried potato taste real good too!. The green salad was fresh, not like certain fast food restaurants the slice tomatoes as sour as asam jawa!. Overall comment-new fantastic menu, except the rice not so great. slightly pricey due to quality beef and chicken meat. the seafood, belum try. afraid of the big "C'! LDL!
thanks shidah hassan... for sharing the info...
Your welcome, chef zaid. Sorry, i didn't know u earlier that u r a chef. Lucky for your wife:-)
do u conduct any frozen food workshop, Chef?
em.. actually I'm not married yet... hehehe...
and no I don't conduct a frozen food workshop... sorry
oh i see..u love food.. something in common but not the cooking part...tasting & eating them only.
have u been to Chawan in bangsar baru? It has rather tasty pisang rebus, ubikayu with sambal. I have never tasted this food before, that's why I think its good. any comments from u, chef?
hmmm... never been there before...
thanks for the suggestion... maybe I'll go there, sounds interesting..
I've tasted pisang rebus and ubi rebus before, from where I come from they serve it with kelapa parut and sugar... but I think it depends on where the owner is from, maybe the owner is from the southern region of Malaysia, that's why they serve it with sambal.. hehe
salam, chef. today I went to Chawan again! this time with another 5 friends celebrating a birtday girl at 40+!. We had Ipoh Kueh teow soup, tauhu bakar, rojak buah, assam laksa & curry laksa!. All the food we ordered was fantasticly delicious! except that the tauhu bakar was slightly 'overcrispy!. Please try it out, chef. and voice out your comment/opinion. nak suruh belanja boleh jugak... but kopi kluang or kota bharu ajelah:-)
shidah hassan: why not you start your own blog about food, and put lots of picture in it... hehehe
actually planning to write a new post but I got other priority work to do first hehehe
